Mark your calendars for one of the best events you should make sure and attend next May! Tickets sold out fast this year so make sure and snag yours early next year! Lynchburg Grows, put on a fabulous evening called” Salad Days” last week on the lawn near their beautiful greenhouses!

We enjoyed a dinner created at a giant salad bar in the greenhouse. Salad ingredients were grown on the farm at Lynchburg Grows, plus they had tons of great toppings and dressings made by local chefs. We ate not one, but two salads that were so full of flavor and some of the most amazing ingredients ever! I must have put about 15 toppings in each one of my bowls filled to the top with more goodness than I knew what to do with! The tables were even amazing with the vintage tablecloths and vases of fresh flowers on top. We played some cornhole with friends, while sampling wine & beer from the local Beale’s Brewery.  Do you know they even had live music from Becca Mancari, an amazing artist in from Nashville, TN. (one of Rolling Stone Magazines top 10 country artist to know). She played some folky funky tunes throughout the night and now I am a fan! There were local artists who gave their paintings to be auctioned off! My favorite artwork was from a local girl Alex Sayer.

The highlight of my evening, was getting to finally meet the amazing and talented Tiffany Tatom, co-founder of Live Pure. The night was filled with great conversations with familiar faces and I met some new friends as well! I even hung out with the winner of my live Consolidated Shoe video Denise Everhart, who won the two tickets to this event for sharing my live video the week before.
