The Vest Time of Year

This past Thursday I had the best time getting to go into school and jump into my little girl’s world. Both Haley and Natalie had class Christmas parties and they got to invite me to join them! We got to decorate Gingerbread houses and eat cookies. Just to see their smiles when I walked in was priceless and worth pushing off some errands I had to run that afternoon.

When styling my outfit for the day, I typically like to pick one piece of clothing that pops out at me! I will then try on whatever to make that one item work! (Just ask my assistant, Nicole! Sometimes it takes 10 tries to figure out how to make a bracelet work!) On this day, it was this brand new vest. I loved it for this casual look, and I cannot wait to dress it up! On this casual day, I did wear heels because heels are a way of life for me! Two of my favorite brands are featured here: Madewell and J. Crew. Its hard for me to find something that I do not love at Madewell or J. Crew. Plus, all of us women love J. Crew and Madewell around Lynchburg because, if you don’t know, one of the best things about living in the Lynchburg area is that the J. Crew warehouse is located here. That means extreme discounts on so many J. Crew and Madewell clothing!
