Vision with No Boundaries

Hello, I’m Sarah, I never thought I would be saying this… welcome to my new blog!

I also never envisioned myself becoming a Mary Kay Executive Sales Director in just six years, being the owner of my own boutique, or redesigning homes, then the list goes on. I have spent a lot of time this past year thinking about what has motivated me to get to this place and why I am the way I am today. I think it is extremely important to consistently reevaluate your own values and make sure that you hold true to them every day.

I want to take a minute to talk about the tagline and vision behind my blog. “Captivating timeless beauty” guarantees that there is beauty in everything we come across in life. There is no age, color, number, or definition for beauty. Some people may chase beauty in their life, but it is actually about embracing it. We tend to push through hard times in life to get to more “beautiful” times without realizing that every time is beautiful, let’s embrace the “now”.  We need to be consistently learning and growing towards God, letting us reflect his beauty in our lives.

After spending the past month or so thinking about where I was when I was 18 to where I am now, I realized that there are really three lessons that I have lived out in my time.

  1. Stay true to yourself. Knowing what you want and going after what you want, plus not letting others influence what you want.
  2. Grow yourself so you can lift up others. Mentoring is so important, and you can’t be a mentor if you are a mess yourself. We all have our weaknesses, but by not being selfish, we are able to be selfless and help others. The best gift you can give somebody is to empower them to be the best self they can be.
  3. You don’t have to change who you are for the world to love you. You can find a niche where you belong and everything will fall into place. There will always be someone who doesn’t love you, but that doesn’t matter.

I have come a long way since I was 18-years-old (haven’t we all) & I only pray that I continue to grow over time. This blogging journey is super exciting for me & I have so much to share will y’all (sometimes I let my southern roots show). So follow along & let’s start this journey…
